Is a Collection of photos by a Photo Enthusiast rediscovering his place of birth, the Dominican Republic.

​I (Miguel A Paoli) was born in Vila Duarte, Santo Domingo, R.D. in 1951, Inmigrated to NewYork, NY U.S.A. as young boy in 1963 following my parents which had immigrated to the U.S.A. years before, due to the Dictator, Rafael L. Trujilo.

As years pased on and political situations gradually changing, there were infrequent trips to Dominica Republic. Photos of excursions and conversations with friends and families were usually about tourist destinations. Beautiful as they were and still are, they did not spark my childhood memories.
